Rooted in Reading Co-ordinator Rooted in Reading is a cross-phase reading promotion campaign that began in 2008. The main thrust of the project has been the development of a range of Reading Passports to encourage young people from KS1 to KS5 to engage with reading. So far over 139,000 passports have been distributed to schools and libraries in Lincolnshire and we are now beginning to sell them into other counties. There are also accompanying rubber stamps and certificates and we'll soon have badges as well for learners who complete a passport.
